What is the Google Solution Challenge?
The Google Solution Challenge is an annual competition by Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC). Teams of 1–4 students build an app using Google technologies that addresses one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Prizes & Opportunities
- Top 3 teams win a trip to Google headquarters + merchandise
- Top 10 teams receive a Google interview opportunity
- Top 100 teams receive Google merchandise and certificates
Required Google Technologies (Use At Least 2)
- Flutter or Android (mobile development)
- Google Cloud (Firebase, App Engine, Vertex AI)
- Google Maps Platform
- TensorFlow or ML Kit
- Google Workspace APIs
How to Win
- Join a GDSC chapter at your university
- Choose an SDG problem that you have personal experience with
- Build an MVP with real user data if possible
- Record a compelling 2-minute pitch video
- Submit by the March deadline with complete documentation
